Appropriate Dress Code for Court Appearances

!±8± Appropriate Dress Code for Court Appearances

How you dress up and present yourself is a very important element of a court appearance. Courts usually have a basic dress code people should adhere to. This dress code is strictly implemented to ensure that the people attending court hearings give due respect to the Court, the judge and the jurors. You should make sure that you dress appropriately for you to not be judged based on your looks.

The court is a formal environment. You should dress up for this as if you are attending a job interview or a formal event. For men who are appearing in court, it is always best to wear suits, slacks, sweaters, dress shirts and jackets. Hats should not be worn. Try to wear a decent pair of leather shoes during hearings-refrain from wearing casual shoes such as rubber shoes, sneakers and especially slippers or sandals.

Lawyers may also give suggestions on your clothing choices. Depending on the strategies they want to employ, they would want you to integrate other clothing pieces to increase your chances in finally getting that divorce paper and custody agreement.

Other than decent clothing choices, it is equally important to present a neat and clean you. Make sure that your hair is cut clean and combed well. Ensure that your nails are well trimmed. If you have a beard or a mustache, make sure that it is trimmed prior to having a court appearance. You can also opt to shave off the mustache and beard to make sure that you look ultra clean in court.

Questions to Ponder About Becoming an Exotic Dancer Stripper

!±8± Questions to Ponder About Becoming an Exotic Dancer Stripper

Decide why you are dancing. Is it for the money and power? The ability to be self employed? Do you have a shopping addiction that you need to support? Make sure that you know why you are thinking about getting into this business. It can be very taxing on the body and the mind. As dancers we see things in the clubs and hear things from men that may not always show everyone in the best light. Make sure you know that you can separate your life from your work. I started dancing mostly out of curiosity. I knew there was good money in it and I wanted to see what all the "hype" was about. If you are dancing just because of the money make sure you have the skills needed to make the money you want - and when I say skills I am talking about sales skills. Be prepared to treat it like a business. Why? Because technically you are a business owner. For the majority of clubs, you are your own boss; you make your own hours, your own vacations, and your own days off. Make a schedule and stick to it - not only for you but for your regulars as well. Keep track of all receipts (clothing, music, etc.), and any other types of possible deductions. At the end of the year you will be able to write these items off for tax purposes (we actually go over all of the specifics on this topic in our seminars). Think about health insurance, taxes and special licenses. (Many cities are now requiring dancers to carry a business license). Determine how this will affect your "significant other". One of the first newsletter articles was about how and if to tell your loved ones that you are dancing. One of the reasons why I wanted my mentor to bring her boyfriend along was so that I could talk to them about the affects her dancing had on their relationship. What are the ground rules for the relationship? Can he (or she) handle the fact that on a regular basis many strangers will see you half (or completely) naked? Can your partner come to see you work? I was dating someone at the time when I started to dance and we talked about his feelings on the situation before I started dancing to make sure it wouldn't jeopardize our relationship. Find the right club. This topic is an article all in itself! For now I'll just touch on some of the major points. Go into the as a customer a couple of times before you decide that you actually want to work at that club. Make sure to go in about the same time that you would be interested in working. Do you like the type of music being played? What about the overall vibe of the customers and the club? Do you like the dress code- for the girls and the guys? If every girl is wearing a g-string and a triangle top but you prefer to be in a "gown club" you should probably consider checking out a different club. Schedule an "audition" and find out all the house policies. I put audition in quotes because I have seen a little bit of everything. My first "audition" was simply the manager asking to see my breasts. My second was the manager simply seeing me in my outfit and then explaining the house policies. I have seen managers run a more "formal" audition and ask the girls to dance on a small side stage for a bit Find out what the dress code is and be sure to bring a couple of different outfits for the audition in case they want to see you in a different style. Make sure you have practiced walking in the large heels if you are not used to it. Are you comfortable in your choice of clothing? Also make sure to go when they are accepting "auditions". Most clubs have a set time that they are willing to see new girls. Determine your "exit plan". This was by far the most valuable piece of advice I received from my friend and mentor and your exit plan will go along with the first tip - determine why you are dancing. Exotic dancing is not something that you can do forever. Figure out when, how and why you are going to stop dancing. Are you starting your own business and this is just to help with start-up costs? My exit plan was a two part plan. Part one was I would quit when it stopped being fun - when it was too much like "work". Part two was when I got a job back in my field of study - theatre management. Keep in mind that if you are going back out into the "real world" after dancing that some explanation of your work history may be necessary. Are you prepared to deal with the questions from potential employers? If you plan to retire young and dancing is your way of doing so, have you set up your financial retirement plans?

Keep in mind, this is a broad list of only a few of the questions that need to be asked and answered before you decide to start dancing. For those of you dancing already, hopefully you have already determined your "exit plan". In the live seminars we touch on most of these topics briefly and then really dive into the aspects of dancing - including psychology, dress, club management, followed by some intense sales skills that will help you to be more comfortable and efficient as a dancer whether you are just starting out or in need of perfecting your sales skills.

Men's T Shirts for All Men

!±8± Men's T Shirts for All Men

Men's t shirts are something that most men own so many of that they do not even think about it anymore. They are a fashion basic that every man has to have in his cupboard and even the spiffiest of dressers who always wear shirts and ties will admit to owning more than a few because at many times a shirt is just too much and on those occasions a t shirt is just right.

T shirts have been popular with men for so long perhaps because of the fact that they are almost synonymous with a casual laid back style or perhaps it is even the other way round and they are the first piece of clothing that men think about when it comes to casual clothing because they have been a staple of men and of the fashion industry as well for so long.

T shirts have always been in vogue with the fashion industry as well because fashion designers have wisely realised that a piece of clothing that is so central to most peoples wardrobes cannot ever be ignored in their collections and year after year designers give us new updates on their ideas of what fashionable men's t shirts look like.

In the past decade there has been an explosion in the number of new brands that have been setup by designers who want to take men's t shirts in directions that they have never been before. There are literally a score of new brands that are designing and selling t shirts for men in all sorts of fabrics and with all manner of stitching and embellishments to try and make the humble t shirt more versatile. These new brands have started making t shirts that can be worn out to clubs and pubs and not let you look out of place amongst the shirt clad gentry.

The t shirt needs little help in this department though as it is already one of the most if not perhaps the single most versatile pieces of clothing in men's wardrobes today. A stylish man who knows how to carry it off and what to pair it with to make it appropriate for the situation can carry off a great t shirt practically anywhere. They can be dressed up and worn under a blazer or a jacket for work or more semi formal occasions and of course they can be worn by themselves for casual occasions.

Dress Like a True Businessman

!±8± Dress Like a True Businessman

If you are in the business world, you must have a really difficult life, not only from the point of view of the business branch you work in, but also when it comes to being fashionable. Businessmen are very pretentious people when it comes to the clothes they wear and their image is always important, in all situations. So, if you want to be a well-dressed businessman, here are a few tips.

First of all, you should keep in mind that no flaws are allowed when it comes to your business attire. You always have to look professional so that you close as many deals as possible and so that you become a successful businessman. Also, once you are well-dressed, you can start making a lot of money also because you get to feel a lot more confident and you leave a good impression on everyone you have to close a deal with.

Second of all, you have to follow the dress code of your company and also the dress code of your culture. If your boss wears more conservative outfits at work, you should do the same and go for this kind of outfits when you go shopping for business garments. If he wears more casual clothes, you should maintain the line he imposes and go with the same kind of casual outfits for the office.

Whatever style you adopt, you have to pay attention for your outfit to be a serious one. You always need a serious image if you are in the business world because that gives your clients a lot of confidence in your services and in what you have to offer. If your image is flawed, you might know why you are having trouble in closing any deals.

These are the most important lines you should follow when it comes to your business image, but you should get better informed and watch out for any mistakes you could make. Good luck with your business!

Evening Dresses - Choosing an Evening Gown

!±8± Evening Dresses - Choosing an Evening Gown

An Evening Gown is a lady's dress drawn to a conventional affair. These dresses are often loose, long, flowing garments. Gowns are oftentimes made of a lavishness fabric such as satin, silk, velvet and chiffon. It fits to men's semi-formal wear for black-tie events.

A gown is (commonly) idle outer apparel from knee-to-full length worn by men and women in Europe. Later, gown was enforced to any woman's apparel comprising of an attached skirt and bodice.

Choosing An Evening Gown

Many of us construct faults while selecting gowns that's are too big or small and/or attempting to wear a fashion that may not be too blandishing and may also not suit our celebrity. There are a few basic rules of thumb which we can adopt while choosing our evening dresses...

A) The Gown Size: - The vigorous of the gown are dressed in is very significant. Look out for the especial juncture evening gowns hats congratulate your figure shape. If you are bigger on the hip, prefer a gown which drapes in the region of you rather of flaring. If you are too heavy, select impressive that is movable all around or a fashion that gains at the hips can appear flattering too.

B) Color of the Evening Dresses: - A homochromatic color format typically does work most excellent to slim and lengthen your body. Forever attempt to select an evening gown with a single color scheme consecutively throughout the length of it.

C) The Add-ons to match: - Add a colorful scarf, if you desire the focal point of the evening to be your face, and if you would like to portray concentration to your slim waist, you can utilize a strap or a tie up hanging about the waist.

Party Dresses for Upscale Engagements

!±8± Party Dresses for Upscale Engagements

Inconsiderate men often complain that women take too long to get ready for a night out. But of course that is the case. The guys need only slip on a suit, while the girls have to do their hair, apply their makeup and find the right dress. One reason women sometimes struggle when it comes to the dress is that they are not sure what is expected of them. When attending a social event, for instance, there is often a dress code. Let us take a moment to review them.

Black Tie

A black tie affair is the most formal social gathering. Men are expected to wear tuxedos, while women can choose between cocktail dresses, formal gowns or long dresses. There are also white tie affairs, which are just as formal. The only difference is that the men wear white bowties instead of black ones.

Creative Black Tie

A creative black tie invite gives guests the option of dressing down a bit. Men can wear black suits instead of tuxedos and women can wear shorter dresses or evening separates.

Semi-Formal

As the name implies, guests are not expected dress up for semi-formal affairs. Dinner or cocktail parties with close friends and acquaintances are generally semi-formal. Men should wear dark suits and women can wear cocktail or party dresses. Professional women sometimes wear dressy suits to semi-formal events.

Business Formal

The dress code for business formal is the same as semi-formal for the guys, but the girls are expected to dress in tailored suits or long dresses.

Cocktail Attire

The standard cocktail party doesn't have a well-defined dress code. The guys usually dress in dark suits and the women wear party dresses.

Informal

When an invitation calls for a casual dress code, it often means that men should wear a coat and tie and women should wear shorter dresses. More often than not, casual affairs are held during the warmer months when gowns or formalwear would be terribly uncomfortable.

Because the dress code for the girls is more complicated, it requires further examination. One of the most confusing things about eveningwear for women is the rather broad definitions. Everyone knows, for example, what a tuxedo is. But what about a cocktail dress, an evening gown or a party dress?

Once again, these dresses are defined by the formality of the event. The most formal dress is the evening gown. The difference between the gown and the other two is that it is longer and that it is often made of heavier, more luxurious and expensive fabrics. An evening gown is generally made of satin, silk, velvet or chiffon. Its hemline can range from tea length and ballerina to full-length gowns. Evening gowns are far more accessible than ball gowns, since they are available in any silhouette, including A-line, trumpet, sheath, empire and mermaid. They may have halters, straps or sleeves. Evening gowns are worn at black tie and white tie events, while ball gowns are obviously only worn to balls.

Cocktail dresses were created specifically for semi-formal affairs. The length of the dress varies widely. Some cocktail dresses are rather revealing, with a hemline that falls just above the knees and others drop all the way to the ankles. The most common length for a semi-formal dress is called tea length, which about two inches above the ankles. Ballerina length dresses are a little longer, as they actually reach the ankles.

Shorter cocktail dresses are often seen at upscale clubs or at more casual get-togethers. These dresses were known as 'late afternoon' numbers before cocktail parties became all the rage in the 1950s. They were also called 'early evening wear,' since women would often wear them out to dinner or to a local speakeasy or salon.

What then is a party dress? Well, a party dress can be any of the aforementioned. Cocktail dresses, evening and ball gowns are all officially party dresses. Some are worn to formal parties, while others are worn to semi-formal and casual affairs.

Modern Styles

The little black dress (LBD) is arguably the most popular party dress in the history of fashion. Created by world famous fashion designer Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in the 1920s, the LBD is the quintessential cocktail dress. It is flirty, fun and affordable. Because of its elegant simplicity, the little black dress is perfect for any semi-formal occasion.

One-shoulder dresses toe the line between semi-formal and formal dresses. Depending on the hemline and the material, they may be a bit of both. The style is quite popular with younger women who want to show a bit of skin in a reserved and elegant way.

Beaded cocktail dresses can be worn by women of all ages. Though they are undoubtedly on the casual side, they are quite comfortable and flattering for most figures. The beaded dress is actually quite popular for less formal wedding ceremonies.

At the end of the day, party dresses should be fun. As important as dress codes may be, they should never get in the way your enjoyment. It's a party, after all.
